lavender and bees

First of all, you've done a really good job getting the focus right on the main subject considering that both the lavender and the bees were most likely moving.
The macro focused used gives a real sense of depth to the image as the other flowers melt away to varying degrees and merge with the yellow flowers in the background. These yellow patches add variety to the colour palette and help separate the foreground, however they also draw the eye away from the subject slightly as the colour is much brighter. Nonetheless they are a welcome addition to the shot.
